The second-hand marketplace Members Voice Frustration About Size Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage due to a modification that led to listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The popular resale platform has revised its sizing categories for female and kids' apparel but did not contact all users about the change.

Numerous buyers and vendors are posting online stating that platform listings now display a different size category compared to what was initially listed because of the remapping.
The platform stated the new system was more in line with comparable marketplaces.
It has advised users to check their listings and update the measurements by hand when needed, causing user dissatisfaction.
Measurement Approach Updates
Earlier, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter and a range such as S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L was previously a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
Shopper Accounts
Frankie Bridger, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, located in Scotland, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were displaying on the service as larger sizing 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they may become frustrated," she said.
Required Changes
A different user, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, because of my ongoing medical condition and selling on Vinted has been paramount for me since losing part of my income," she stated.
Service Background
The platform boasts over 100 million users, with 18 million British users.
It has emerged as a preferred choice to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance when a surprising modification within the service has received backlash: last year, the service retracted a modification concerning shipment methods due to shopper criticism.
