Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
